KELOWNA, BC: Whether you used to tap dance and haven’t in a while, are a competitive tap dancer looking to improve your skills, or you can’t even spell the word TAP and you’re a complete beginner, Canadian dance choreographer Shawn Byfield has you covered.
Originally from Toronto Canada, Byfield left the hustle and grind of the big city for a more relaxed Okanagan lifestyle.
But living in Kelowna hasn’t slowed his passion for the arts. Shawn is looking for new students who want to learn how to tap dance, or want to level up their current skills.

Tap Dancing Is Great For Social Connections
Not only is tap dancing a great physical and mental workout, it’s a wonderful way to be social and make new friends.
“Tap dancing changed my life!” states Byfield, who recently got married to a tap dance lover like himself. “I met my wife through this art form. What else could be better?!”
If you’ve been wishing for more tap dance in your life, brush off your shoes and add your name to the waitlist. Who knows, maybe you’ll meet your new bestie or dance partner like Shawn did.
