Impatient? READ THIS… How Does This Popular Movie Quote Relate To Your Current Life?

So in my world, so much can change in 8 hours! Here’s a real-TIME story unfolding right now:

Two hours ago I was at home in my underwear. Now, I’m lying down comfortably in my honeywagon, after a major movie production sent a driver to pick me up and bring me to set. Yup, I’ve been requested.

UPDATE: I was Adam Sandler’s movement coach for this movie:

How The Heck Did I Get Here? (And Other Random Ramblings)

If you want it, you have to PREPARE for it. I’m constantly striving to become the person I am capable of being. Working hard is NOT the same as working smart. Understand the difference, then do both! Sometimes that means late nights or earlier mornings. Many times it requires doing something that makes you uncomfortable.

Everything you want in life is just outside your comfort zone.

Listen. Whatever you want you’re not going to get right away. I’ve worked diligently for years to build a reputation of being an expert in my field. So now, sometimes unexpectedly, I land a gig and appear on set literally hours later. Pretty cool sh*t. 🙂

There’s a popular saying in the movie biz:

“I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!”

That’s a good one, no? Damn witches…

But the one I’m referring to is actually “Hurry Up And Wait.” It’s important to notice how that directly relates to our personal growth as well. Invest in yourself NOW. Work hard NOW…

…Then be patient. You might not see instant success but you will reap the benefits in the future.

Wait for it. It’s coming!
