Summer is almost over! And Autumn is just around the corner.
Which means only three months left of 2009. Time to reflect on our past year, and look forward to the future.
Some of us, however, get anxious this season because of the fear of knowing we DIDN’T do the learning, passions or activities we said we would do for ourselves and others this year.
Listen, I’m here to tell you: Life happens. And that’s ok. But what’s NOT ok is to not take responsibility for your actions. Or, lack of action.
You wanna get smarter? Enroll in a night course.
You wanna start a business? Research the tools you need to get started. Mastermind with experts that can help you succeed. You wanna lower your cholesterol? Exercise. Swim. Dance. Rollerblade. Go bowling. Just find something to do, and do it.
DO IT. Really. Stop talking.
Wouldn’t it be nice to know you’ll end 2009 as someone who DOES what they say they’ll do- instead of making empty promises? It’s not too late. You still have time, if you get started.
There’s no shame in starting late… the shame is in not starting at all.
I encourage you to take the next few weeks to walk the walk, and talk the talk. Just get moving. A wise man once said: “…Just start where you are.”
Strong words, wouldn’t you agree?
Follow your passion. I promise you- your life will change for the better.
And don’t forget: Anyone can dance. Yes, ANYONE, including you. If you need help starting, I might know someone who can help!
