Hey tap dancing adults,
If you haven’t been tap dancing in a while, here’s an example of what we do in class:
All tap dancing lessons are downtown Toronto. The video above is an elementary tap dance lesson, for adults who used to tap but haven’t in a while. We were gettin’ our spicy Latin on. =)
No, it’s not a beginner tap class. These Toronto tap classes are not for kids, you’ll have to look up a dance studio in your area. But if you really want BEGINNER tap dance lessons, drop me a line!
If enough people are interested, should I start up a new class?

Yes Jill, that was me performing with my group at Harbourfront. Glad you liked the show, thanks for your support!
Hi Shawn,
While visiting in Toronto last summer I was at a Hot and Spicy festival on Aug 17 at the Harbour Front. Was it you and some dancers that did a fabulous tap dancing demo on stage? You also came out to a platform in front and did a short lesson with people.
Hi Carolyn,
Would love to help, but I rent dance studio space also! I’m sad to hear their facility is closing down. It’s hard enough already to find a suitable space for tap. Good luck with your search, keep me posted…
Shawn, I’m part of a small tap group called the “City Clickers”. We have been renting space at a Flamienco studio at Adelaide and John for at least 10 years. We have just been informed that it is being closed and I wondered if you rent your studio out to other people? We meet once a week – usually Tuesday nights, but that could be flexible for about an hour or so. Our funds are limited, so I’m checking around. Some of the others are checking out church basements, but we are having trouble as so many are booked.
If you do not, can you recommend any where? We like the downtown area.
Thanks. I appreciate any input.
Carolyn
