So, 2 of my dance students in hip hop class last week asked how to work their “bootie”. Ironically, the week before we threw down to FloRida’s “Get Low”, and all hip hop classes were on that theme: We got LOW.
There’s many ways of workin’ the bootie actually. You can pop it up; you can bounce it down. You can swing that rump from side to side. But the important part is to actually bend those knees, wider than your shoulders, and get closer to the ground. AKA: Get LOW.
